Learn How to Plan for College
Planning for college involves both students and their parents. Planning for college can begin as early as pre-school or as late as senior year, but the decisions you make can have a huge impact on your college career.
It’s not uncommon for parents and students to feel overwhelmed by the financial aid process; establishing college savings plans, selecting a college, developing a career plan, and everything in-between. Sometimes the most difficult part of the entire college planning process is just knowing how to get started and finding the appropriate resources.
Fortunately, information is available through a wide variety of sources. We have tried to identify some critical pieces to get you started and have provided what we consider to be links to good sources. Although the information is segregated by student and by parent, we strongly recommend that the parents of prospective college students take the time to review all sections.
