College Goal Sunday Car Raffle
Student Assistance Foundation is in the process of coordinating its second annual fundraising car raffle with the purpose of supporting Montana College Goal Sunday. This year, participants have a chance to win a 2008 Ford Edge.
Montana College Goal Sunday is a free program, hosted at 17 sites across the state, where students and their families receive assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Originally, the program was funded through a three-year grant through the Lumina Foundation that provided approximately $60,000 a year, but that grant has expired.
Raffle tickets are $5 each and are available until Feb. 10, 2008 — College Goal Sunday. Student groups are invited to sell raffle tickets, and in return, receive $1 for every ticket sold to support their group’s activities, along with other monthly incentives.
The winner will be drawn on Feb. 15.
For more information on how to register to sell tickets, contact Kris MacIntyre at (406) 495-7312 or at kmacintyre@safmt.org.
